As modern swine farms continue to expand, water consumption for environmental management systems has become an important operational concern. At a Wens swine farm in Anhui, the deodorization system installed at the exhaust fan outlets required a stable water supply for spray-based odor control. However, continuous use of fresh water would increase operating costs and place additional pressure on water resources.
To improve water efficiency, Yikang Ecological provided a reclaimed water reuse solution for the farm’s odor control system. The project was designed to disinfect and reuse treated wastewater, allowing reclaimed water to be safely applied in the deodorization process. This approach helps reduce fresh water consumption while supporting stable odor control performance.
The system integrates reclaimed water treatment, filtration, disinfection, and reuse into one practical process. After proper treatment, the reclaimed water is supplied to the deodorization equipment at the pig house exhaust fan outlets, where it is used for spraying and odor reduction. By improving the quality and safety of reclaimed water, the system helps meet the operational needs of the farm’s environmental management system.
This project demonstrates how reclaimed water reuse can create practical value for large-scale pig farms. It reduces dependence on fresh water, lowers daily operating costs, and supports more sustainable farm management. At the same time, the solution contributes to better resource utilization and improved environmental control within the farm.
Based on the actual site conditions, water quality, and deodorization system requirements, Yikang Ecological delivered a targeted water reuse solution for the Wens swine farm in Anhui. The project reflects our commitment to helping livestock farms build cleaner, safer, and more resource-efficient environmental management systems.
