Anhui Lixin Biomethane Project

The Anhui Lixin Biomethane Project, invested by WanEnergy Group, is a regional demonstration project for the resource utilization of agricultural organic waste. The project uses corn straw, wheat straw and livestock manure as feedstocks and adopts anaerobic digestion and biogas upgrading technologies.

The project is designed to treat approximately 140,000 tons of manure and 20,000 tons of straw annually. By supplying upgraded biomethane to the city gas network and utilizing digestate as agricultural fertilizer, the project helps establish a circular model of planting, livestock farming, waste treatment and resource reuse.
